Pontoons are floating platforms that can be adapted to function in a multitude of ways during dredging operations.

Pontoons are used by the dredging industry as heavy-duty work platforms for operations such as drilling, dredging, heavy lifting as well as for accommodations.

Pontoons

Mono-hull pontoons may be used for carrying large equipment from place to place, for transporting rock, stone or gravel within or to a site, and as working platforms for mechanical dredgers as needed.

Multi-purpose pontoons

Multi-purpose pontoons are heavy duty but more complex than a mono-hull pontoon. They are used for servicing other items of floating equipment on site. To do this they are may be equipped with winches for anchor handling, cranes, holds suitable for fuel or water, and other such facilities.
