Today, 31 January 2024, IADC and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education have strengthened their long-standing relationship by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding.

The agreement was signed regarding to IADC's support for research and education activities in the specific area of Coastal Engineering and Port Development provided to IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.

Both IADC and IHE Delft have a joint interest in the continuation of the education and training of engineers in the fields related or relevant to the dredging industry, including in particular projects with the theme ‘Coastal Engineering and Port Development' (CEPD).

 

Therefore, IHE Delft and IADC shall continue the existing collaboration with respect to the annual preparation and implementation of the Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation at IHE Delft and shall consult each other regarding the preparation and implementation of, among other things, short courses in the area of CEPD. Participants in the Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation are of key importance to the members of IADC.
